Toyoko Inn Matsuyama Ichibancho

Toyoko Inn Matsuyama Ichibancho is a business-style hotel located just a few blocks from Matsuyama's main pedestrian mall and the cable car station for the Matsuyama fort complex. The Dogo Onsen is just a short tram ride away. The rooms are fine, the breakfast is adequate and the staff is helpful. The only issue I had with the hotel was the poor Wi-Fi, which is slow and spotty, so I'd probably avoid this hotel if you need a strong signal. Note: My real rating for this hotel is a 7.8. I gave it an 8 because I think the 7.3 that it has as of October of 2024 is too low. It's a decent hotel and perfectly fine for a night or two.

Very nice location. Hotel staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was good.
